Surly Jude
What do you do for work/ or what are your plans for the future?
Currently I own my own company. (Called Ata-Boy) We make gifts and novelties, which are sold wholesale to retailers. We are responsible for the Elvis dress-up magnet set. I am going to school to become an Art Historian/Art Educator. My plan is to develop art history programs for schools by getting outside funding.
What do you do for fun / do you have any hobbies?
I practice Hung Gar Kung Fu. I have been doing it for 6 years. I also love to read comics, listen to music, paint and to cook.
What do you not like?
Ignorance, organized religion, bad drivers and food smackers.
What is your favorite color?
Purple, though green is a close second.
What is your favorite Surly-Ramics design?
My heart that has stars sprinkled across it. I wear it all the time!
Is there anything else you would like to say?
Surly-Ramics make the best gifts! They always make the receiver smile!!!

Jude is one my dearest friends. She is intelligent, kind, beautiful and creative, an absolutely perfect Surly Girl. It was a joy to photograph her. The photos were taken at her home in Atwater Village. (Her cat was kind enough to join us for a few shots as well!)
